【 Principle 】 The FMD(O) Antibody Rapid Test Card is made using immunocolloidal gold chromatography technology, which can quickly detect FMD(O) virus antibodies in serum. The FMD(O) virus antigen is wrapped on the detection line (T) of the nitrocellulose membrane, the anti FMD(O) virus antibody is wrapped on the quality control line (C) of the nitrocellulose membrane, and the FMD(O) virus antigen labeled with colloidal gold is dried and placed at the bottom of the glass cellulose membrane. When the serum is added to the sampling well, due to the principle of chromatography, the serum begins to move along the paper strip. When encountering the dry gold labeled antigen, it is dissolved and continues to move with the gold labeled antigen towards the glass cellulose membrane. Move up to the detection line of nitrocellulose membrane.
If there is an antibody against FMD(O) virus in the sample, the FMD(O) virus antigen and gold labeled FMD(O) virus antigen encapsulated on the detection line will form a sandwich immune complex with the FMD(O) virus antibody in the sample on the detection line, forming a purple red line, which is considered positive. The higher the antibody titer in the sample, the darker the color line.
If there is no antibody against porcine FMD(O) virus in the sample and no color band appears on the detection line (T), it is judged as negative. When the sample and gold labeled antigen continue to move up to the quality control line, the anti swine foot-and-mouth disease O-virus antibody here will bind with the gold labeled swine foot-and-mouth disease O-virus antigen, forming a purple red line on the quality control line (C), proving the effectiveness of this detection reagent.
