【 Principle 】 The PPRV Antibody Rapid Test Card is made using the principle of colloidal gold immunoassay (GICA). After adding the sample to the sample well, it moves along the chromatography membrane with the colloidal gold marker. If PPRV antibody is present in the sample, the detection line will display purple red. If PPRV antibody is not present in the sample, no color reaction will occur.
【 Scope of Application 】 PPRV, commonly known as Sheep Fever or Pseudo Cow Fever, is a highly contagious disease of goats, sheep, and wild small ruminants caused by the Peste des Petits Ruminants Virus (PPRV).
The PPRV Antibody Rapid Test Card is used to detect ruminant disease virus antibodies in sheep serum, and can be used for auxiliary diagnosis of sheep ruminant disease infection and evaluation of vaccine immunity.
